Ready to do the deed!! Never been to Fontana before and can't wait! Mistake number one, thinking I know what this track is all about. This one point would ruin my weekend. I thought this was a big, high speed, hang on and let it fly track. Wrong! This was the most physically demanding I have ever been on. There is no time to rest and it works you hard, way harder than I ever thought. So mentally I thought I was ready, found out I was thinking the track wrong and struggled all weekend. Wanted to get to the 1:33's only got to 1:35.7 but mostly ran 1:37's. I was so beat I did not run the last race! That was a first for me! I WILL be ready next time here. Guess my head got to big from the last 2 weekends. Have you gotten by now I'm way too mental?? Guess it's the way I am, it can hurt me when it's off but when it's on it gets me in a zone. Oh well, another lesson learned. (no, I'm not mental)
